Ducksurprise is the largest webshop in the Netherlands for 3D printed items. Our 3D printed vases are designed for lovers of modern and functional design. Thanks to advanced printing techniques, we can create shapes that are not possible with traditional production methods. This results in vases with unique structures and patterns that immediately stand out. The vases are ideal for flowers, but also perfect for use as decorative objects in your interior. From sleek, minimalist shapes to playful and organic designs. There is always a vase that matches your style.

Each vase is made from high-quality plastic that is carefully selected for durability and appearance. Our vases are usually made from PLA or PETG, but sometimes also from ABS or ASA. Due to the 3D printing process, small details and unique textures can be achieved that are not possible with traditional production methods. Slight layer lines or small imperfections may be visible on the products. This is a normal and characteristic part of the 3D printing process and gives each product its own character. Of course, all our products meet our high quality standards.

Our vases are designed for artificial/dried flowers but can also be used for real flowers. Please note that the vases are not completely watertight when using real flowers. During the 3D printing process, thin layers of molten plastic are stacked on top of each other to form an object. This can create microscopic holes through which water might eventually leak from the vase. For artificial or dried flowers, the vase can be used directly. If you wish to put real flowers in water in the vases, we recommend placing a waterproof inner vase or glass inside the vase. This prevents water from leaking through the vase. Be aware that, especially PLA, can become brittle with prolonged exposure to moisture. Not using an inner vase significantly shortens the lifespan of the vase.

If it is necessary to add weight to the vase, we recommend using decorative sand or pebbles. This not only adds extra weight but also helps the flowers stay beautifully arranged in the vase.

To clean the vase, you can use a soft cloth with lukewarm water. If necessary, use a mild detergent for stubborn stains, but avoid aggressive chemicals or abrasive cleaners to prevent damage. We advise against placing the vases in the dishwasher, as the heat can deform the material. Always dry the vase thoroughly after cleaning.

The vases can be used both indoors and outdoors. However, please consider the material the vase is made from. Most types of material will discolour and/or become brittle with prolonged exposure to water and/or UV light. If the vase is to be used outdoors, we recommend the material ASA.
